Cleveland Bucket List

So, I love Bucket Lists. They are a lot of fun, and helpful to organize your goals for adventurous living. Freshman year of college, my friends and I all made bucket lists. We re-made them senior year, and reviewed what we had and hadn’t done, and what we still wanted to do. It was really fun and eye-opening, and showed how much we had all changed and grew.

This is my (ever growing) Cleveland Bucket List. It is mostly activities I’d like to do or places I’d like to visit. Some of them are strange, some of them are basic. Suggestions are welcome. :)

- Run the Cleveland Marathon (or at least the 5K)

-Visit the Rock Hall of Fame

-Visit the Metropark Zoo and Rainforest

-Go hear the Cleveland Orchestra

-See an Indian’s game, a Cavaliers game, and a Brown’s game.
-Go sailing or kayaking on Lake Erie (and maybe fishing)

-Find 25 geocaches in Cleveland

-Visit the Big Fun Toy Store, and take a picture with the creepiest thing there.

-Speak with the Black Eyed Beings (lol, jk)

-Eat all of restaurants featured on Guy Fieri’s food network show

-Practice being a good neighbor

-Get something weird and free off of Cleveland’s Craigslist, and not die

-Get a library card, don’t accrue fines in excess of 1$

-Go to the Cleveland Film Festival

-Eat at this weird place really late at night

-Take pictures from the observation deck in this tower in Cleveland

-Watch The Christmas Story. Then visit the house.

-Take Molly Polka to this museum. Take many, many pictures.

-Support local farmers/businesses (as much as my paycheck allows)

-Go tobogganing! (but call it sledding, tobogganing sounds weird)

-Visit this 4-Day long Catholic festival, get a picture with a nun

Hey, I don’t know you but I’m a longtime TFA blog reader, and I’m also from (and a huge fan of) Cleveland. Just wanted to wish you luck in your placement and say I hope you love Cleveland as much as I do! Make sure you check out the Shaker Square Farmer’s Market and the West Side Market, poke around Tremont, get a milkshake at Tommy’s and some fancy fries or ice cream at Sweetie Fry, take a drive down MLK boulevard past the ethnic gardens, I could go on…in any case, lots of luck!
